Do I need a school email to join?

No. The 2004 site required a school .edu address; this recreation is open — register with any email. You can still pick a school network on your profile.

What can I do here?

Create a profile, post to your Wall and other members' Walls, like and comment on posts, add friends, join groups, send messages, poke people, match courses, and browse everyone's posts.

How do I add a friend?

Open someone's profile and click Add Friend. Once they confirm, you'll see each other's posts in your feed.

Who can see my profile?

Your name and photo are always visible. Everything else — contact info, personal info, courses, and your friends — has its own visibility setting: everyone, your school, your year, your house, or friends only. Set them on the Privacy page.

What is the difference between the Feed and Everyone?

The Feed shows posts from you and your friends. Everyone shows the latest posts from across thefacebook.
